Officers
Here are your 2007-2008 EGB Officers:
Co-President
Shawn O'Leary
My Name is Shawn Patrick O’Leary and I’m from the city of Gig Harbor in Washington. As a senior at WSU, I’m pursuing a B.S. in Construction Management and a minor in Business Administration. I hope to pursue a graduate degree in Urban Planning or Construction Management sometime in the future. I’m excited for the opportunity EGB has at Washington State University in progressing Green Building practices into our academic and student life. Also, I’m proud to be part of the group of students who will be taking the LEED exam this spring!
Co-President
Robert Waldburger
Born on the wrong side of the state, Robb Gregory Waldburger, began his construction/redneck career in Seattle, 1986 . As soon as possible, he packed up his truck, guns and flannel and moved to Pullman where he began his 4 year adventure at Washington State University. The alma mater of both his parents, crimson has long been flowing through his veins, and was a perfect fit for this city boy turned country. Once settled into the Construction Management program, Robb began to focus on sustainable building and design practices. With a life goal of living deep in the heart of the Methow Valley and building a off-grid green home where he can fish and hunt from his front porch, he is excited to get this EGB club up and running!
Public Relations Officer
Ellen Hagen
My name is Ellen Hagen, and I was born in Seattle, but have since then moved to Kirkland, WA. I love Pullman and the people here, but my home is on the west side. I am hoping that this club will put a jump start on the sustainability movement here at the University and I am hoping that every student who joins will leave with a full knowledge of sustainability and possibly pass the LEED exam with each other's help. During my free time, which is cherished, I enjoy movies, going out, friends, napping, and traveling.
Activism Officer
Kelsey Wegener
My name is Kelsey Wegener and I am from University Place, WA, but love living in Pullman. I am pursuing a degree in Architecture and am in my fourth year. I am very interested in sustainability in all aspects and am planning to take the LEED exam this spring. I am looking forward to promoting the Emerging Green Builders group and getting younger students involved in sustainable design. In my free time I enjoy being with friends and playing sports.
Secretary
Maggie Cahalan
My name is Maggie Cahalan and I am a 4th year Architecture student at WSU. I’m from Spokane, WA and my plan is to return there for graduate school next fall. I have always been interested in sustainable design practices and I hope that this club will enable more students to get exposed to the possibilities out there. I am also the Captain of the WSU Crimson Girl Dance Team and during my free time (which there is very little of) I enjoy watching movies and traveling.
Treasurer
Robert McNamara
My name is Robert McNamara, I am a fourth year architecture student, looking forward to graduate school. I am very interested in the future of architecture in relationship to Sustainabiltiy and Technology. In my spare time I am the aquatics intern at UREC, love to watch movies, and learn new computer programs to better myself in terms of design.
